SMS Add-on

WebCentral Exchange servers are integrated with the SMS networks that are available on most mobile phones. This integration provides you with the ability to send and receive SMS messages through Outlook as well as receive SMS reminders for appointments.

Our SMS gateway will track messages sent from your Outlook, so that when replied to, you will receive the SMS reply in your inbox.

With the SMS Reminder when you enter reminders into your diary you can request an SMS alert before the meeting to remind you of the time and location of the meeting.

How do I enable the SMS Add-on?

 To enable Managed Exchange Add-on features such as 'mobile' and 'SMS' you need to log a job on your Managed Exchange account using Mission Control. N.B. The SMS Add-on is only available with Managed Exchange Web and PC Access. Please contact us if you need further assistance.

Notes

• To utilise the SMS Add-on product, Managed Exchange Web and PC Access must be enabled.
• To utilise Managed Exchange, your e-mail does not have to be currently hosted by WebCentral. Migration of your existing mail can also be arranged.
• Pricing per month excludes mobile carrier data charges, handset costs and all SMS costs (including sent messages, received messages and reminders).
• Prices are in Australian dollars and are inclusive of GST.
