Mix ‘n Match

Last year we launched our Managed Exchange offering, which provides your business with all the benefits of a Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server, but none of the hardware, software, licensing costs or backup problems as the server is managed and maintained by WebCentral.

A number of customers have indicated they like the features of Managed Exchange but don't want to have to provide it to all their staff. Now WebCentral can Mix 'n' Match your e-mail, allowing some employees to use Managed Exchange, while other employees can continue to use WebCentral's Standard Internet Mail (i.e. POP 3) that comes with the majority of our web hosting levels.

Managed Exchange provides you with the familiar functionality of Microsoft Outlook including E-mail, Calendar, Contacts, etc. while allowing your staff to work more collaboratively - they can see diaries, share contact lists and book resources. You and your staff can access Managed Exchange information via a web browser anywhere in the world or even via a pocket organiser.

• Activating Managed Exchange on some of your existing WebCentral mailboxes is easy!
• Login to Mission Control.
• Select 'Mailboxes | User Mailboxes' from the left hand navigation.
• Select 'Edit' for the mailbox or mailboxes that you wish to enable Managed Exchange on.
• Click 'Microsoft Exchange' from the 'General Settings' list.
• Press 'Save'
• When the mail server updates, the selected mailboxes will be upgraded to Microsoft Exchange.
