Promotions ManagerWhat is it?
Promotions Manager is a database-driven mailing list management tool that is built into the DeskControl interface. It allows you to quickly and easily compose professional looking 'HTML' e-mails and send them to specific and targeted audiences. Using HTML, Promotions Manager is able to track and display in an easy to read format when messages have been read, forwarded, bounced, etc.
Other features include: - Database flexibility to allow you to 'merge' into your HTML e-mail fields such as 'First Name', 'Last Name', 'Customer Account Numbers', etc.
- A wizard tool (i.e. walks you through the process 'step by step') to help you create your HTML e-mail
- The option to send an e-mail to your entire database, or just a selected few
- The ability to automatically 'filter' your uploaded e-mail database so that there are no 'duplicates' sent

Activating Promotions Manager is a two-step process: 1. Enable 'DeskControl' (WebCentral's intranet product) on your account - to do this: - Login to Mission Control
- Select 'Add Component' from the menu
- Select 'Configure DeskControl' from the menu
There are three levels of DeskControl - 'Personal', 'Standard' and 'Professional*'. All levels support Promotions Manager (Desk Control Personal and Desk Control Standard are bundled with our web hosting packages for free - there is a charge to use DeskControl Professional).
2. Enable 'Promotions Manager' on your account - to do this: - Login to Mission Control
- Select 'Add Component'
- Select 'Add and Configure E-mail Promotions Manager'
- Hit the 'Configure E-mail Promotions Manager Settings' button at the bottom of the page
- Select which e-mail accounts you want to give access to for Promotions Manager
Where Do I access the Promotions Manager tool? You utilise the Promotions Manager tool through DeskControl, which can be accessed in a number of ways: Once you are on the DeskControl web site, you will be prompted for a user name and password. This is simply your e-mail address (user name) and your e-mail password (password). Inputting both of these will give you access to the Promotions Manager tool. FREE OFFER
