Additional Datasources

A System Data Source Name (DSN) allows you to connect to your database. DSNs are configured on the web server to allow the code in web pages to access an Access or SQL database. DSNs can be requested through the job logging feature in Mission Control.

Notes

• Additional Data Sources are only available to customers on Business 2002 and above.
• Customers on Business 2002 and Professional 2002 receive one free DSN, but must pay for Additional Data Sources. Customers on Premier 2002 and above receive unlimited free DSNs.
• DSNs can be created upon request, however we strongly recommend customers utilise the more efficient OLEDB connection methods.
• Prices are in Australian dollars and are inclusive of GST.
